Thea Marie Klinger (*1997 in Dresden) is a Visual Storyteller based between Hanover and Copenhagen. She works with photography and video, and presents her work across various media, including exhibitions.

Drawing on her background in journalism, she pursues projects that often involve in-depth research, exploring issues relating to the climate crisis and the nature-culture dualism. She has a strong interest in forms of storytelling that go beyond human voices to include multispecies points of view. Extinction, habitat loss, and encounters between humans and other species are recurring themes. 

She holds a BA in Journalism and Photojournalism from Hochschule Hannover and the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus, Denmark, as well as an MA in Contemporary Cultures from the University of Hildesheim.
